Our main cask ale on the bar is our local brew Black Sheep Bitter, brewed at the Black Sheep Brewery in Masham.

We don’t sell anything less than 36 gallons a week going up to 54 gallons a week in the summer so it is a clear favourite amongst all. All our cask ales are Cask Marque accredited and we are always rotating them to give you the best variety as we possibly can.

If your coming up as a group for the weekend or short stop drop us an email and let us know the sort of ales you like and if we can get hold of it then we will certainly get it on the bar.

The Wheatsheaf Inn & Hotel is a popular stop for locals and visitors alike. With a fine selection of Cask Ales on offer what better place could you find to sit and relax in.

The bar area is perfect to unwind in after that hard day at work or to take the load off your feet after that 6 hour trek.

On the cooler evening you can sit and appreciate the roaring log burner or, in the summer months, a cool refreshing drink can be enjoyed outside in the large beer garden which has views over the nearby landscapes.
